What Is Life Coaching?
Life coaching is focused on self-discovery and helping individuals reach their goals. Coaches challenge us to achieve more than we think possible, help us overcome our own obstacles to achievement. Athletes, vocalists, speakers, actors, business professionals all have coaches – so why not do the same thing for your own life?
Who Is Coaching For?
Coaching is for anyone who is tired of feeling that life is living them versus them living life, and are ready to change it. Coaching is for people who are open to challenge and change, to grow. Knowing that where they are at today is not where they want to be in 3 months, 1 year, 5 years from now – and just need a safe, objective person to help them get there.
What is The Process Like?
When we first start working together, we’ll establish what it is that you want to achieve – that goal you want to reach. We’ll then work together really uncovering what it would take to help you get there. The process could include breaking down unhelpful beliefs, working through limitations held by your subconscious, timeline work, mindfulness, meditation, and/or breathwork.
Yes, I believe that it takes our whole being to accomplish our goals, our mind, body and spirit.
If you are not looking for a full 1:1 coaching package, you can still book individual breathwork sessions, join a workshop, or book a single breakthrough session.
What's the difference between Therapy and Life Coaching?
,A therapist can diagnose disorders, provide counseling and medical advice and helps you look at your past in order to help you manage you present. A coach looks at your present to help you create the future you desire, it is action and goal oriented.
What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?
CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions (e.g. thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes) and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)?
NLP amplifies our understanding of our thinking, behaviors, emotional states and aspirations. It provides us insights which of these are useful and which are unhelpful. NLP gives us the ability to be more mindful of these aspects of ourselves during normally stressful times in both personal and professional situations.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is the term used for a conscious breathing practice which helps people to get centered, to release old patterns, thoughts, and behaviors, and to re-balance their body, mind and spirit.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
