Meet John Price

Rebellious Empath.
Breathwork & Sound Guide.
Creator of
The Sovereign Return.

I had to learn that I was worthy of being heard, seen, and respected for simply being myself.
I had to learn to set aside the fear of what others thought.
I had to learn to be with and love myself first.
I had to learn that I don’t have to be perfect to guide others.

I had to learn that I can show up exactly as I am—as a beautifully messy, loving person who is constantly learning, growing, and evolving. That my past informed my present, and my present will inform my future.

I’m not defined by any of it. Neither are you.

The Truth of My Path

I was raised in a small, rural, conservative Christian town that demanded uniformity. From an incredibly young age, I knew I was different—sensitive, queer, intuitive, carrying a heart that felt too big for the silence I learned to keep. I spent my childhood learning how to shrink myself to stay safe. How to trade truth for peace. How to perform while burying pain.

At 19, I met a man who swept me off my feet and out of state. I was wooed and wowed, but what seemed like fantasy quickly turned into a 25-year suffocation. I lived inside an emotionally, financially, and psychologically abusive relationship that looked beautiful on the outside while leaving me breathless on the inside.

At 20, I walked into my first corporate job at Netscape. Since then, for 25+ years, I’ve built a career in corporate marketing. I’ve led global teams, designed systems that scaled, guided organizations through digital transformations. I was good at it. I still am. However, for the longest time, I was drowning at work with little respite once I got home. There was no safe haven for me.

Here’s what nobody tells you about being an empath: your greatest asset is often the same thing that nearly destroys you. The ability to read a room, track everyone’s energy, absorb stress before it escalates, hold space for dysfunction while performing competence—these skills made me exceptional at many things. They also taught me how to abandon myself so thoroughly I forgot what my own voice sounded like.

For 25 years, I stayed quiet and complicit in my treatment both at home and at work long after I knew better, because survival felt safer than disruption.

But enough was enough. It was time for my own reclamation.

    2018

This was the year of the great dismantling of the life I had built and protected for 25 years.

I left everything—my partner, the home I owned, my old identity—and started over with little more than my car, clothes, dogs, and the quiet voice of my intuition saying: “There’s more.”

This action was spurred by the revelation that I have all I need inside me. That the accomplishments, the possessions—all of it existed in my life because of me. That I am a creator, and wherever I am, I can create anew. It was the beginning of everything.

    2020

In 2020, during a transformational retreat in Bali, I experienced conscious connected breathwork for the first time.

I met myself, finally. It was there, in that sacred place, that I sobbed. I raged. I forgave myself.

I came home to my body and met myself for the very first time.

    2020 +

Since that retreat in Bali, the world shut down due to a global pandemic.

I lost my job. I took the time, again, to rebuild and further find my own truth. My own center.

I married the love of my life.

My path has unfolded through sacred studies, sound, movement, breathwork and soul work. I didn’t know it then, but I know now—it was when I began building this practice. When I had the revelation that each and every one of us has an inner temple (a soul temple, if you will) waiting for us to return to. To honor ourselves, our sovereignty, and to reclaim our birthright of respect—because of who we are, not despite it.

    The Way I Hold Space

    John Price III

I don’t offer five-step plans or promises of quick fixes.

I hold what’s real, what’s present, and help you listen to it.

My work is trauma-informed, somatically grounded, and shaped by 25+ years of navigating environments as a highly sensitive person. I know what it costs to survive in relationships and systems that punish feeling.

I hold space with fierce tenderness and zero pressure to have it all figured out.

I’m a Taurus sun, born in the year of the Tiger, 1/3 Mental Projector in Human Design.

I move with grounded discernment and speak when truth is ready to land. When it does, it goes deep.

I don’t believe in fixing. I believe in witnessing.

Your softness is holy. Your sovereignty is your birthright.

The work isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about remembering who you were before the world put its constraints on you.

We are the sensitives, the feelers, the deep-souled ones who have always known there was something more and are ready for our reclamation.

It is time for The Sovereign Return—for your return.
